Lou Lou Threads didn't start with a business plan or a big launch moment. It started with a decision to slow down, stay home, and be present for my kids during the years that go by way too fast.

When my youngest came along, we started calling her Lou Lou — a little play on her middle name, Louise. It stuck immediately, the way the best nicknames do. When I was trying to figure out what to call this little business I was building from my home in Oklahoma, it felt like the most natural thing in the world to name it after her. LouLou Threads is stitched together with the same thing she is: a whole lot of love.

How it all started

I've always been a maker at heart. I wanted work that felt meaningful, that I could do on my own terms, and that would let me be the kind of mom I wanted to be. Custom embroidery checked every box.

What started as small orders for friends and family grew into something I genuinely couldn't have imagined. Now I get to spend my days doing something I love, in a home full of chaos and joy — two kids, three dogs, two cats, and a backyard flock of chickens that have absolutely no respect for quiet mornings.

I'm not a factory. I'm a person — a mom working out of her home in a small Oklahoma community — and that shows in everything I make. Every order gets my full attention. My process is pretty simple: you tell me what you're envisioning, and I make it happen.
